Philly Tax CPAs Drucker & Scaccetti Present “Finding Humor in Taxes,” A Unique Cartoon Art Exhibit

PHILADELPHIA, April 10, 2013 /PRNewswire/ — While most people these days are taking taxes very seriously as they are getting ready to file their 2012 returns, Center City Philadelphia tax accountants, Drucker & Scaccetti, are presenting a lighter look at the subject. The firm will present an exclusive exhibit, “Finding Humor in Taxes,” featuring approximately 50 works of nationally renowned cartoonists on April 10, 5pm-7pm at 1600 Market Street.

Featured artists whose works will be on display are: Tony Auth*, former Philadelphia Inquirer editorial cartoonist for 41 years, currently digital artist residence at WHYY’s NewsWorks.org; Joseph Farris, cartoonist for The New Yorker whose work has also appeared in Barron’s, Stern and Harvard Magazine; and Theresa McCracken, a cartoonist whose work has been featured in hundreds of newspapers, trade journals and magazines from The Saturday Evening Post to the Oregonian.

According to Ron Drucker, chairman of Drucker & Scaccetti, laughter opens the door to great relationships and solidifies them. “I’ve always enjoyed tax cartoons. They give levity to an otherwise very serious business,” said Drucker. “Over the years, my clients and colleagues have shared them with me so I thought it would be a nice idea to compile a group of cartoons that I could share with clients, colleagues and friends for a few laughs during a typically stressful time of year.”
