Italian Artist Paolo May, Ambassador of the Cultural Program of the Open Innovations Forum, to Take Part in the “Imperial Gardens of Russia” International Festival in St. Petersburg
MOSCOW, May 29, 2013 /PRNewswire/ — Paolo May, Italian sculptor and painter, Ambassador of the Cultural Program of the Open Innovations Forum will present an exhibition of his works at the “Imperial Gardens of Russia” International Festival of park and gardening art. The Festival will be held from June 7 to 16 by the Russian museum.
During the Festival Paolo May will hold a number of master classes for the students of art. As an Ambassador of the Cultural Program of the Open Innovations Forum on June 7, the artist will hold a performance to produce a ceramic bas-relief – replica of the portrait of Anna Akhmatova (author: Natan Altman, 1914) exhibited at the Russian museum. “I take an active part in the ideas and projects of the Forum, realizing not only the importance of the global initiative, but also the positive potential of modern art in providing an incentive for the comprehension of problems facing the global community and the desire to resolve them by means of science and creative activity,” the artist says.
