Signs of Solidarity - Ai Weiwei
Given the current situation, well-known artists have each designed a billboard as a sign of solidarity with Ai Weiwei. Those invited to do so are either friends of the detained artist or were in professional contact with him. In addition, they are connected with the Kunsthaus Bregenz either through past exhibitions or other projects. Certain of the contributions refer explicitly to Ai Weiwei’s situation, while others respond in a more abstract manner.
