Korean Fever!

Singapore Art Museum (SAM) celebrates the closing of its exhibition Transcendence: Modernity and Beyond in Korean Art with Korean Fever; a carnival event open to the public and held at the museum grounds on Saturday, 14 March 2009 from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm. Admission is free.

The public may try everything and anything that is Korean; enjoy live performances, savour authentic Korean delicacies such as Chap Chae Bokum (sweet potato noodles) and Sujungwa (cinnamon punch), learn how to make Kimbab, try your hand at a Hanji (Paper craft) workshop, show-off some free style fancy footwork in a Jegichagi Game, take a photo in a hanbok and get into the groove and jive to the Korean Hip-hop sessions! There is also an art competition for youths should they wish to try their hand at Korean Art!

invited to participate in an art competition which is inspired by the Korean
Art Exhibition.
