Mary Brilli exhibits her installation work Clin d’œil at Mausoleum of Bela Rosin
The ephemeral interactive installation by the artist Mary Brilli, Clin d’œil, in the Mausoleum of Bela Rosin, Turin, continues until 24 September.
Born in Turin, but living and working in Paris, Mary Brilli is an eclectic artist: she expresses herself through painting, drawing, works on silk, designs for Hermès-Paris, collages and installations. The Mausoleum of Bela Rosin is a neoclassical building and is an exact copy of the Pantheon in Rome, built on a 1:8 scale by the sons of Rosa Vercellana, who was nicknamed Bela Rosin (Bella Rosina). Saturday 24 September starting at 11am, the artist invites her audience to demolish the work. Visitors can take home an artist’s book, that form part of the installation.
The installation is open from Wednesday to Sunday, 10am-12pm and 3pm-7pm, until 24 September 2011.
