The Art Museum of Southeast Texas is located in downtown Beaumont. Through unique collections, exhibitions, public programs and outreach in the visual arts, our mission is to provide education, inspiration and creative vision throughout Southeast Texas.
AMSET’s collection consists of approximately 1,000 works of art (painting, sculpture, prints, photographs, folk and decorative arts) of
the 19th, 20th and 21st Centuries, with an emphasis on American art, and a growing regional collection of folk art.
AMSET’s Main Gallery hosts eight to 10 changing exhibitions each year. Many are organized in-house and travel to other venues. The
Café Arts gallery spotlights local artists. The West Hall Gallery features new acquisitions.
AMSET takes great pride in its many educational programs. Each year, AMSET’s education staff touches the lives of tens of thousands
of Southeast Texas children. Please visit our education page to find out more.
